FILBo International Business Forum
The FILBo International Business Forum is a strategic business platform within the Bogotá International Book Fair (FILBo), organized by Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber. It facilitates the buying, selling, and negotiation of books and publishing rights among professionals from the national and international publishing industry.
Designed for publishers, literary agents, distributors, booksellers, and other industry stakeholders, the Forum fosters strategic partnerships, commercial exchange, and new business opportunities.
Through a dedicated digital platform, participants can schedule 30-minute meetings with previously selected companies and professionals, maximizing networking and negotiation opportunities. In its most recent edition, the Forum facilitated 1,275 business meetings and generated commercial expectations exceeding USD 5 million, consolidating its position as one of the leading professional book industry meeting spaces in Latin America.

Buyers
1. Expression of Interest
September 15 - December 15
Companies interested in purchasing a table at the International Business Forum (IBF) must complete the registration form. The information provided will be used to assess the balance between supply and demand and to support the participant selection process.
2. Selection Process
December 16 - February 2
Applications received will be reviewed and evaluated to select participating companies.
3. Notification of Results
By February 5
Selected companies will receive confirmation of their participation, together with a payment link to secure their business table.
4. Payment Platform
February 8 - March 20
Period during which payments may be completed through the Colombian Book Chamber·s online payment platform.
5. Meeting Scheduling
March 23 - April 22
Participating companies will be able to schedule business meetings through the Corferias platform for the 2027 International Business Forum.
Exhibitors
Companies participating with an exhibition stand at FILBo 2027.
1. Participation Confirmation
Companies must have signed an agreement with Corferias for the acquisition of an exhibition stand at FILBo 2027.
2. Expression of Interest
October 1 - February 20
FILBo exhibitors and members of the Colombian Book Chamber may participate in the International Business Forum and schedule meetings with companies that have purchased a business table, provided they meet the following requirements:
Carry out activities related to publishing products identified with an ISBN or ISSN (including books, audiobooks, e-books, magazines, and serial publications, among others).
Demonstrate ownership of, or authorization to exploit, the economic rights of the publishing works to be offered during the event.
Demonstrate export capacity.
Have a catalogue containing at least ten (10) titles.
Have been legally established for a minimum of three (3) years.
In the case of collective exhibitors, up to three (3) companies per stand may participate. Once interest in participating in the IBF has been expressed, the names of the companies forming the collective stand must be provided.
3. Selection Process
February 22 - March 8
Applications will be reviewed and evaluated to select participating exhibitor companies.
4. Meeting Scheduling
March 23 - April 22
Selected companies will be able to schedule business meetings through the Corferias platform for the 2027 International Business Forum.
