The FILBo International Business Hall is a strategic space within the Bogotá International Book Fair, organized by Corferias and the Colombian Book Chamber, that facilitates the buying, selling, and negotiation of books and rights among professionals in the national and international publishing industry. Aimed at publishers, literary agents, distributors, booksellers, and other stakeholders in the sector, it promotes the creation of alliances, commercial exchange, and the opening of new business opportunities.

Through a digital platform, participants can schedule 30-minute meetings with pre-selected businesspeople and professionals, optimizing networking and negotiation opportunities. In its most recent edition, the Book Fair facilitated 1,275 business meetings and generated sales expectations exceeding $5 million , solidifying its position as one of the leading professional book industry events in Latin America.

Schedule of the International Business Salon (SIN)

The procedure and schedule are defined below, both for participating companies and for exhibitors.

Participating companies

1. Expression of Interest - From September 15 to December 15.
Companies interested in acquiring a table at the International Business Hall (SIN) must complete the registration form. The information provided will allow us to assess the balance between supply and demand, as well as support the selection process.

2. Selection Process - From December 16 to February 2
The review and evaluation of the applications received will be carried out in order to select the participating companies.

3. Communication of results - Until February 5th.
Selected companies will receive confirmation of their participation, along with the link to make the corresponding payment to the business table.

4. Payment platform - From February 8 to March 20
Period enabled to make the payment through the payment platform of the Colombian Book Chamber.

5. Appointment Scheduling
Participating companies will be able to schedule their business meetings through the Corferias platform for the 2027 International Business Show.

Important:
Business tables do not include space for the installation of pennants, banners, roll-up banners , or other advertising materials. Due to logistical reasons and venue capacity limitations, the display of this type of material will not be permitted within the International Business Hall.

Companies invited to participate must fully meet the defined profile for the International Business Show. Their selection will be coordinated with the event organizers, who reserve the right to evaluate and approve applications, as well as to determine which companies will ultimately participate in the Show, based on the program·s criteria, objectives, and capacity.

Exhibiting Companies

Companies participating with a stand at FILBo 2027.

1. Formalization of participation
Companies must have signed the contract with Corferias for the acquisition of a stand at FILBo 2027.

2. Participant Profile Validation - From October 1 to February 20.
FILBo exhibitors and members of the Colombian Book Chamber may participate in the International Business Hall and schedule appointments with companies that have purchased a table, provided they meet the following conditions:

• Develop activities related to editorial products identified with ISBN or ISSN (books, audiobooks, electronic books, magazines and serial publications, among others).
• Demonstrate ownership or authorization for the exploitation of the patrimonial rights of the editorial works that will be offered during the event.
• Demonstrate export capacity.
• Have a catalog of at least ten (10) titles.
• Have a minimum age of three (3) years since its legal constitution.
• In the case of group exhibitors , up to three (3) companies may participate per stand. To formalize their participation, they must complete the corresponding registration form and indicate all the companies that will make up the group stand, providing for each one its company name, tax identification number (NIT), and other required information.
• All participating companies must be individually registered and have prior validation from the organizers. Access to the International Business Hall will be restricted exclusively to duly registered companies. Failure to provide required information or incomplete registration will prevent any company from entering and participating in the event.
• Exhibitor status will be granted exclusively to the company that has signed a participation contract with Corferias . The inclusion of other companies within the same booth must be Servicios al usuario Reported to and approved in advance by the organizers through the registration of their complete information (company name, tax ID number, and other required information). Under no circumstances may an unregistered company or a company other than the contracting company be accredited, enter, or participate in the event by impersonating another exhibiting company.

3. Selection Process - From February 22 to March 8
The review and evaluation of the applications received will be carried out to select the participating exhibiting companies.

4. Appointment Scheduling
Selected companies will be able to schedule their business meetings through the Corferias platform for the 2027 International Business Show.
